NCAA hates bloggers

The NCAA has a new rule, no blogging from the stands. Guess they are worried about their TV money. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

It's because ESPN is jealous that their corporate selves no longer dominate "instant score updates."

It kind of irks me actually. It's silencing the competition which means they are scared of them.

Thinking about it, it'd actually be nicer to get sports scores from blogs. Back in the day, using baseball as an example, we'd get the scores one by one on the scroll. Now we have to sit through what pitcher got the win, how many RBIs, etc. when we just want to get to our team's score.

Resistance is futile ... you will be assimilated into the blog.
